Approximately 5,000 years ago, at a time when Oriental Medicine was evolving and organizing into a coherent system, Pythagoras was teaching the nature of the universe to his students through the music of the spheres and the Doctrine of Universal Harmony and Order. Pythagoras may have been the first westerner to hear and document the hearing of the music of the spheres. He is best known for his contributions to mathematical and his geometric theories, his major contribution to music theory was the discovery of the arithmetical relationships, the ratios, between the harmonic intervals- the correspondence between the abstract worlds of musical sounds and numbers. 5,000 years later, we are able to apply the precise frequencies of these cosmic influences directly to the body using Acutonics tuning forks and other musical healing instruments. This system is rooted in the great traditions of the east and the west, representing a blending of science, medicine, music and mysticism from intellectual and intuitive cultures and from science and mysticism, the tradition of musical and undivided universe.
It all started when visionary acupuncturist/poet/writer; Donna Carey, and gifted musician, composer & oriental body-worker; Marjorie de Muynck have developed a coherent system of applying precisely calibrated tuning forks to the pathways and acupuncture points. This divine system took over 10 years of clinical trials, 1,000's of case studies, and transposing the calculations of Pythagoras, Johannes Keppler, Hans Cousto, to a practical form. All this dedication was conducted at The Northwestern Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. This system evolved, expanded and matured into a practical system of healing that will unleash innate wisdom and healing within all!
Tuning forks are divine healing tools which encompass Harmonic Medicine. They are used in pairs to produce a musical interval which resonates through the body. An interval is the distance or space between two tones or musical notes. Used with, and/or, Tibetan bowls and bells, sacred gongs, drums, and a didgeridoo; this vast healing system represents far greater advancement in healing than simply placing needles in acupuncture. Using acupuncture, and harmonic medicine together, represents the ultimate healing process and results can manifest at an accelerated rate.
Working with the frequencies of celestial bodies, such as the sun, moon, earth, other planets and asteroids can be used with or without acupuncture. Acutonics is used in the content of Oriental Medicine and the forks are used on any of the acupuncture points. In general Acutonics is used to treat chronic illness, muscular skeletal pain, cancer, allergies, MS, neuropathies, addictions, weight loss, stress, migraines, gynological disorders, psycho-spiritual issues are just to name a few that I have treated.
